Senior Information
Systems Engineer
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, computer, or electronics
engineering from an accredited institution with a minimum of 7 years
of information systems engineering experience in one or more of
the following Information Technologies or as specified in the individual
task order:
- Perform information
systems engineering to translate the functional requirements and
performance objectives into design criteria and specifications
for the individual elements and subsystems that will make up that
system
- System design
and development engineering functions are required to support
the engineering and acquisition of information systems including
the following: radio, fiber optics, cable plant, air traffic control

Information

Senior Computer Scientist
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or Software Engineering from an accredited institution
with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics,
or computer science. Must possess a working knowledge of current
and developing technologies related to the interoperability of information
systems, software, corporate databases, protocols, networking, information
processing methods, information/computer security, and the use of
simulation and modeling tools. Must have a minimum of 7 years of
experience in systems design of major IT systems.
Computer Scientist
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or Software Engineering from an accredited institution
with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics,
or computer science. Must possess a working knowledge of current
and developing technologies related to the interoperability of information
systems, software, corporate databases, protocols, networking, information
processing methods, information/computer security, and the use of
simulation and modeling tools. Must have a minimum of 3 years of
experience in systems design of major IT systems.
Junior Computer Scientist
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution
with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics,
or computer science. No experience is required.
Security Analyst
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, plus three
years experience in Information Security Engineering; analysis to
include design, development, evaluation, risk management, certification,
and testing of secure information systems including telecommunications
applications.
Senior IT Technician
A high school diploma or GED is required with an additional 2 years
of electronics vocational training at an accredited technical school
or equivalent military school and 7 years experience in two or more
of the following IT specialties, or a High school diploma or GED
and an additional four years of electronics vocational training
at an accredited technical school or equivalent military school
and 5 years of experience in two or more of the following IT specialties:

Technical Writer/Editor
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree and 2 years of experience
in journalism or related experience in the area of written communication
and 3 years of specialized experience in IT documentation. Must
be capable of writing, rewriting and editing reports, articles,
software documentation for IT systems following DOD regulations,
and new releases of technical material. Must be capable of applying
audio/visual communications techniques to scientific subject matter.
Senior
Computer Programmer
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution with 8
years of programming experience in software development or maintenance.
Must be capable of utilizing third and fourth generation or current
state-of-the-art IT equipment and languages to develop and prepare
diagrammatic plans for solution of business, management, communications,
tactical, and strategic problems. Must be able to design detailed
programs, flow charts and diagrams showing mathematical computations
and sequence of machine operations necessary to copy and process
data and print results. Must be able to verify accuracy and completeness
of programs and systems by preparing sample representative data
and testing them by means of cycle and system processing. Must be
experienced in relational and object oriented languages, applications,
and operating systems.
Computer Programmer
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution with 4
years of programming experience in software development or maintenance.
Must be capable of utilizing third and fourth generation or current
state-of-the-art IT equipment and languages to analyze system requirements
and devise program logic for business, management, communication,
tactical, and technical problems. Must be able to develop detailed
flow charts and instructions for programs, develop general run diagrams
and process flow charts. Must be able to develop tape layouts and
record formats and add additional data items necessary to accomplish
work products. Must be experienced in relational and object oriented
languages, applications, and operating systems.
Junior Computer Programmer
Must have a minimum of one (1) year of programming experience as
a trainee or junior level programmer, or at least 15 semester hours
in computer science from an accredited institution. Must be capable
of translating detail program flow charts into program coded instructions
used by third and fourth generation or current state-of-the-art
computers.
Draftsperson
Must have the ability to prepare various drawings that communicate
engineering ideas, designs, and information in support of engineering
functions. Drawings consist of parts and assemblies including sectional
profiles, irregular or reverse curves, hidden lines, and small or
intricate details. Requires minimum of 2 years experience in current
conventional computer-aided design (CAD) drafting techniques and
application programs.
Administrative Services Clerk
Must have a high school diploma or GED and have four years of general
administrative experience. Experience must include: word processing,
spreadsheet usage, data entry operations, and typical office procedures.
Must be experienced in Military administrative procedures and be
familiar with Army correspondence requirements.
Technical Instructor
Technical degree or Associate Degree from an accredited junior or
community college or equivalent experience such as prior NCO new
equipment training, and demonstrated experience as a training instructor.
Must have strong background in new equipment training of communications
or automation systems. Must have ability to effectively communicate,
professionally interface with new trainees, and provide clear, concise,
in-field, hands-on training.
Human
Factors Engineer
Must have a BS/BA degree in Engineering (or Industrial Psychology
with a concentration in Human Factors). Must have 5 years of experience
in Human Factors engineering with respect to the development and
deployment of military IT systems. Must have expertise in MANPRINT
and a working knowledge of MIL-STDs and MIL-HDBKs covering Human
Engineering Guidelines and Design Criteria for Military Systems,
Equipment and Facilities. Must have knowledge of the parameters
of human cognition including serial and parallel processing, visual
perception, attention allocation, reaction-time tasks and speed
accuracy tradeoffs.
Project Director
Must have a BS degree in engineering, engineering management, mathematics,
or physics. Additional course work or participation in seminars/symposia
regarding financial management, environmental regulations and compliance,
and personnel relations is preferred. Must have 12 years of experience
in systems development and systems engineering, as applicable to
the task, in one or more of the following areas:

A Master of Science, with 8 years experience, or Ph.D., with 4 years
experience, in engineering, computer science, or a closely related
field from an accredited institution is required. Experience shall
demonstrate the ability to perform systems integration and engineering
tasks in the areas of automation and telecommunications; the capability
to conceptualize and define requirements for IT programs requiring
systems design and integration for multiple system environments;
the ability to define the interaction/interface between different
multiple systems requirements and develop appropriate architectures
to support these requirements while employing methodologies from
any of the IT technologies; the ability to serve as a leader of
a task team and be able to evaluate and resolve problems arising
from the tasks.

Educational and experience levels are negotiable

information systems analysis tasks in support of one or of the functional
